Responsibilities: * Serve as the senior HR business advisor to KPMGa€ (TM) s US Advisory practice, partnering with the leaders and HR centers of excellence to deliver strategic, high-quality, innovative and efficient HR support as well as to influence strategy and processes for topics such as automating and transforming service delivery, HR systems, and analytics * Direct and coach a large, distributed, multi-level HR team to provide effective HR service delivery to 11,000+ US partners and employees, while establishing strong working relationships with practice leaders and support the strategic direction of the business in both day-to-day operation and strategic planning * Coordinate the functional planning and execution of annual HR processes including goal setting, performance assessment, promotion decisions, compensation planning, and talent management * Architect, build, and deploy organizational effectiveness programs and solutions in support of business strategic and operational priorities; analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies * Coach and counsel leaders at all levels through key business and people decisions including leadership placement, organizational design, risk and regulatory considerations, and investigations/disciplinary actions * Lead the development and annual updates of the Advisory people strategy by leveraging market-leading employee solutions and partnership with HR centers of excellence to advance Advisorya€ (TM) s strategic talent and people agenda and to drive improved efficiency, effectiveness, agility, and innovation Qualifications: * Minimum ten years of broad Human Resources experience, with emphasis on HR strategy, process transformation and innovative cutting-edge employee solutions; professional services environment is strongly preferred * Bachelora€ (TM) s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree from an accredited college/university is preferred * Strong results orientation with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business * Experience managing teams, HR resources and creating overall HR strategy and transformation agenda that have significant impact and influence to continuously improve business processes * Demonstrated outstanding leadership and communication skills with ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and develop trust and influence as a senior thought leader with a broad relationship base * Present a strong client orientation and the ability to build relationships and credibility within a professional services environment of human capital professionals KPMG LLP (the US member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
