With succession planning for future senior leadership the driving impetus, CORT is recruiting MBA graduates looking for a unique career advancement opportunity. Our Executive Leadership Development program will prepare our associate for key leadership positions in the near term and high visibility positioning for senior leadership in the future. Responsibilities Upon hire, our ELD associate will have front line placement where they can be immediately challenged and provide value. The associate will then rotate through various operational, and sales management roles. These rotational assignments will give the ELD participant insights and experience unique to our business and will serve as foundational for ensuing career opportunities. This developmental phase is designed to last 2 years. This can be accelerated or prolonged based on associate's progress and organizational needs. Within 2 years of hire, the candidate must not only be able to relocate but to make a commitment to relocate in order to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the company. Starting work locations could be in any of our 50 markets. Currently, we are focusing on placing candidates in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington, DC. Opportunities requiring relocation could be anywhere in the country but most typically regional in relation to original hiring location. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be an MBA graduate with a degree focus in disciplines applicable to leading a business. Candidates should have minimum 3 years of leadership experience that includes supervisory accountability for direct reports. The candidate desired will be a builder of individuals and team, goal/results oriented, and a servant leader. Successful candidates will have a high emotional quotient that can be demonstrated in interview process. Candidates who have had some P&L responsibility will also be given preference. This is not a position for those that desire to be a consultant but for those that want to lead a business. Candidates must have unrestricted and indefinite work authorization in the US Additional Information Senior Leadership Sponsorship: The hallmark of this program is the stewardship we take in our ELD's success. Key members of our senior leadership have been chosen to oversee, shepherd and take ownership of the associate's development. In addition, our Vice President of Corporate Development will share in this responsibility and monitor progress. Finally, there will be a designated mentor within the starting district location that will guide the associate through the everyday process. Compensation: Compensation will be a combination of a competitive base salary, a management bonus based on individual and company performance, and in addition a 3-year stay bonus.
