Responsibilities Position Summary : With top line annualized revenue of over $40M and programs across Department of Homeland Security and Department of State, Tsymmetry is a fast-paced Firm with a strong growth trajectory. We are looking for a Staff Accountant who is interested in joining a mid-size Federal Consulting Firm focused on the International Security & Public Safety Sector. The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting a range of accounting processes include accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, payroll, and monthly/year end closing. Specifically, this individual will perform the following activities: Accounts Payable : Enter and process vendor invoices; monitor aged accounts payables General Ledger : Support month end close processing and prepare various general ledger account reconciliation Billing : Create monthly invoices and supporting documents in timely fashion. Monitor Accounts Receivable aging on a regular basis Receipts : Review of daily bank deposits and entry into Accounts Receivable system Bank Recs : Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations Timecards : Setup employees and maintain timecards and expense reports Audit: Assist with various audits including annual financial statements audit Skills & Experience: High level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and strong time management skills Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex environments comfortably Experience in presenting to and interacting across multiple levels in the organization Professional, flexible, and able to succeed in a dynamic environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professional staff Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required 1 - 3 years of related experience in Accounting Working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint software Working knowledge of ADP software Preferred Requirements: Experience in Federal Government Contracting is preferred CPA Candidate preferred #CB
