Description Aramark continues to grow and is searching for a strategic Human Resources Manager with our Facilities Sports &b Entertainment business. As a HR Manager, you will primarily act as a business partner and advocate by helping to identify & direct recruiting solutions to business needs while ensuring the efficient delivery of HR programs and services. This requires an experienced individual who can multi-task within a fast paced environment. The HR Manager provides all generalist support by identifying best practices and organizational efficiencies, as well as coach and train front line managers to properly apply human resource policies and programs within the units. Responsibilities to include managing, processing and implementation of the following but not limited to payroll, benefits, employee incentives, retention, turnover, recruitment, safety, training and development. Must be able to create, plan and manage creative HR strategies. Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies Duties include talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, and special projects. You will identify and resolve actual and potential employee issues. Additional responsibilities include: Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers. Is highly responsive to customer needs. Facilitate and implement succession planning, forecasting capabilities and talent pipeline strategy. Ensure efficient talent acquisition operations with metrics and report to measure results. Create successful candidate pipelines that includes all sources such as the company's website, social media, job boards, employee referrals, grassroots/government organizations, job fairs, etc. Facilitates interview process and onboarding to provide a quality candidate experience. Champion and communicate corporate initiatives including but not limited to salary planning, diversity, and succession planning. Counsels employees relative to transfers, promotions, terminations and various work items. Ensures unit complies with all federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines concerning human resources (ie, Federal and State Minimum Wage Laws, Affirmative Action, Immigration Reform Control Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, FMLA, ADEA, ADA etc.). In conjunction with regional Human Resource Director, may respond to charges of discrimination. Meets with the appropriate individuals in an effort to resolve the case under investigation. Attends all necessary hearings as a representative for the company. Provides guidance and counsel to District Manager as needed. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards of operation, client and within Aramark's Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to regulations and codes. All other duties assigned. Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent. A minimum of two to four years experience in a Human Resource Generalist role and/or Food Service Operations is required. Human Resource experience must include specific employment and recruiting experience. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is desired. Preferred experience in dealing with unions. Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends. Additional Qualifications: Labor Relations experience preferred. Knowledge of Kronos or similar electronic payroll system preferred. Proactive and ability to get things done quickly and accurately. Experience in supporting multiple client locations preferred. Problem solver in a fast paced environment. Must exhibit the ability and personal accountability to effectively network and navigate through ambiguity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to prioritize and work independently. High attention to detail and superior time management skills. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Ability to listen to employee concerns and have exceptional analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
