Proposal Content Developer, Lead

Key Role:

Manage the activities involved in the development and revision of major proposal content. Coordinate with internal capability teams to define technical approaches and solutions in various proposal volumes. Present proposal content to management and incorporate feedback. Apply broad expertise or unique knowledge, contribute to the development of proposal strategies and proposal content to achieve goals in creative and effective ways, and resolve significant and unique issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Create formal networks involving coordination among groups. Act independently to analyze methods and procedures to optimally address proposal requirements and exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with federal proposal volume development, grants development, or technical writing roles, including analyzing staffing models or plans, management, past performance, and resumes for IT, systems engineering, and professional services opportunities

-Experience with leading and coordinating diverse teams from various organizational levels from the prime, subcontractor, and consultant businesses

-Experience in working closely with business area operations, business development leads, and pricing leads to ensure the alignment of technical, management, and cost and price strategies

-Experience with defined business development processes, including phases and gates

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with proposal compliance audits
-Experience delivering project solutions to federal clients

-Ability to build, modify, and communicate WBS activities through cost and staffing models and standardizing processes to increase efficiencies in developing and documenting staffing model solutions

-Ability to plan and coordinate proposal resources, including people, budgets, and schedules, and communicating status regularly to firm leadership

-Ability to produce schedules, templates, and other proposal documentation using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

-Ability to serve as a team leader to coordinate numerous major proposal efforts at the same time, provide leadership to junior employees, and supervise the activities of others
