Responsibilities: General contracting support including contract drafting, negotiation, and general legal issue spotting, as it relates to contracts including but not limited to NDAs, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Subcontract Agreements. Review RFPs/RFIs in order to identify issues and risks. Escalate complex legal and factual issues to attorneys and assist in resolution. Support for corporate matters including corporate governance, human resources issues and corporate compliance. Other related responsibilities as part of DMI's in-house Legal team, as determined collaboratively with the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer (eg, legal and contract compliance issues and contract administration matters). Will report to Deputy General Counsel Qualifications Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience, in-house experience preferred. Experience in drafting and review of contracts including NDAs, statements of work, and professional services agreements. Experience with state and local government contracting, a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills to facilitate successful interaction with all levels of management and staff. Must be proactive with a keen sense of urgency and the ability to pay strict attention to detail, while also turning around work quickly. Must be an independent thinker and worker, have strong organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize. Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters with a team-player attitude. Hard working, self-motivated, and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure. Bachelors' degree is required. Min.
