We need following candidate Title Sr. Network Engineer (Forescout) Location Washington, DC Duration 6-12+ Months MUST have ldquoForescoutrdquo Experience Federal Project MBI Clearance Position Overview Network Engineer (Network). Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of data communications networks. Assists with the completion of large-scale network services engineering projects. Assists with engineering research and design. Designs and implements enterprise wide data network projects Shared responsibility for architecture, design, and deployment of fault tolerant voice and data networks including disaster recovery. Designs and maintains network management architecture for specific network including event monitoring and alerting. Configures and deploys network software in accordance with project implementation plan. Performs activities required for timely completion of projects. Troubleshoots, resolves, and documents all Tier III support calls as related to the LAN WAN. Develops and documents plans to troubleshoot, diagnose network related issues. Completes and publishes documentation as related to specific network services projects. Essential Functions Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Experience with Law Enforcement Networks preferred. NetworkEngineer working end to end ownership (design, engineering, implementation, operations escalation) of newly developed networks Experience with the design and implementation of enterprise wide network projects, including fault tolerant LANWANSANs and disaster recovery. Experience troubleshooting advanced LANWANSAN problems including issues that require interfacing with vendor TAC engineers. Experience developing standard documents for diagnosing and testing network related issues. Ability to provide technical support to team members. Experience implementing advanced routing technologies and integration (ex. OSPF, Tunneling). Experience design and implementation of advanced switching technologies (ex. LLDP, MPLS). Required Skills and Qualifications Proven hands-on network engineering experience Demonstrated proficiency in network administration in large datacenter environment ndash DNSDHCP, Load Balancing (F5 Networks), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper Networks), IDSIPS, IPSEC VPN) Solid understanding of the OSI or TCPIP model Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools 3+ years of experience in a LinuxUnix environment. 5+ years of experience with Ethernet and IP networking knowledge and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols. 5+ years of experience in large scale global network design and implementations. 2+ years of network security experience 5+ years of experience with the following protocols and concepts TCPIP, TCPIP Flow control, UDP, SNMP, HSRPVRRPGLBP DNSARP HTTP SSL STP Trunking, IPSECBGPOSPF Port Channeling a IPsec Software development skills are required, specifically in Python with 3+ years of experience. Knowledge of major Internet routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, with at least 3+ years of experience
