Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for a Director of Product Marketing who will develop strategic marketing plans for the Vectorworks product line, to include market research, competitive analysis, pricing, customer engagement, and business planning.. In this role, you should expect to:. Develop content to drive product messaging and product launches for marketing communications vehicles that include press releases, white papers, collateral, Web content, presentations, videos, podcasts, and sales training materials. Drive competitive marketing campaigns to help build market share and revenues. Collaborate on competitive selling, pricing, market development, and field solutions. Act as the bridge between customers and R&D, providing customer input and use-case examples to engineering on new product features and functionality. Identify and communicate technical trends driving our markets and competition. Identify and help meet customer needs. Identify, develop, and exploit competitive advantage, barriers to entry. Develop and execute product marketing plans. Collaborate with other marketing directors to create market messages, launch plans, collateral and sales tools. Produce product-specific white papers. Communicate with senior management on market performance of products. Assist in developing demand-generation initiatives, including webinars, channel training, presentations and demonstrations, customer site visit programs. Travel up to approximately 50% subject to change based on company and customers' needs. Performs other related duties and assignments as required. Why do you want this job?Because you are:. Minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities. 5-10 years product marketing experience; must include developing product marketing plans and launch plans.
