Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
In addition to specialized experience, you may also qualify for this position with education as follows: Successful completion of four years above high school.
A combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience, in which the percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions.
The work is primarily sedentary with some carrying of computer reports, boxes and ledgers of moderate weight.
The work is normally performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled office setting.
Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be terminated at any time before the established not-to-exceed date.
A 40 hour work week is typical of this position.
Eligible DoD career or career conditional employees shall be granted statutory return rights to their former position for a period of 5 years if continuously employed in a foreign or non-foreign area provided by Executive Order 10895 and DoDI 1400.25, v 1230.
