    Basic Requirement: You must meet one of the items listed below (A, B, or C):
    A. Possess a full 4-year course of study at an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher Degree in economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus. (Must provide transcripts)
    B. Possess a combination of education and experience -- that courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.. (Must provide transcript)

    Minimum Qualifications:

    GS-11: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-9 grade level in the Federal service, which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is:
    • Utilizing economic principles, and applying selected quantitative and qualitative assessment techniques,
    • Developing data-driven, fact-based findings and broader management policy insights to support making recommendations and drawing conclusions
    • Displaying knowledge of the theory and practice of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) as a strategic discipline.

    OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or doctoral degree or equivalent graduate degree; or a combination of the required experience and education for this grade level.

    GS-12: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is:
    • Utilizing economic principles, and applying a variety of quantitative and qualitative Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) assessment techniques
    • Developing data-driven, fact-based findings and broader management policy insights to support making ERM-related recommendations
    • Contributing to written materials that make recommendations and draw conclusions addressing ERM issues and challenges to inform senior leadership decision-making
