Responsibilities:

The Manager, IT Service is responsible for overseeing managed services, vendors, processes, and systems. Subject matter of a specific technical discipline and accountable for functional management of that discipline. Ensures services meet the business need and are delivered in accordance with agreed sevice levels, managing the service lifecycle. Coordinates all managed services, vendors, and/or systems. Manages activities through indirect staff to ensure appropriate resources are identified and allocated, provides vendor management and technical direction, future planning, support, and enhancement practices for IT services. Provides leadership in the design, development, support, and implementation of technology services. Manages scope and prioritization of deliverables based on the contract terms, paying strong attention to detail and deadlines. Promotes the use of enterprise tools and development/support standards. Interacts with users to understand requirements, conduct process analyses, and defines conceptual design. Monitors change requests to ensure best practices are utilized. Ensures problems pertaining to the service performance and reliability are addressed through managed service relationship. Evaluates vendor/contract performance. Perform other duties as required.
