Part-Time Theater Technicians
The Hylton Performing Arts Center on the Prince William campus of George Mason University is seeking theatre technicians to fill out our over-hire call list. We are looking for electrician, fly-rail operators, and general stage hands. Duties include, but are not limited to: prep electrics and stage for incoming shows, work load-ins, show calls, and load outs. We are not a union house, and technicians may be asked to help in all technical departments. Pay rate is $12-$20 hour depending on experience. Hours per week can range from 24-50+hours depending on show load and on your availability.
The Hylton Performing Arts Center is a presenting house that consist of two theatres. The Merchant Hall an 1100 seat opera house style theatre and The Gregory Family Theatre a 242 seat black box. For more information go to: http://hyltoncenter.org/.
