A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Public Policy Assistant Director. Core Responsibilities of this position include: Developing and maintaining relationships with Members of Congress and their staffs Designing and implementing legislative strategies at the federal and state levels Drafting testimony, sign-on letters, comments, and other advocacy materials Qualifications for this position include: Ability to travel as assigned 3-5 years' experience in reproductive health policy or related field Ability to research, analyze, summarize, and present legislative policy for a variety of non-legal audiences Advanced degree in law, public policy, or public health preferred Strong research, writing, and public speaking skills Experience educating policy makers
