  • One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12)within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

    Specialized experience is defined as experience associated with service acquisitions to include acquisition planning, market research, solicitation package development and issuance, competitive source selection process and post award contract management.

    Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level.

    • Moving costs MAY be paid--however--moving costs must be paid if a DISA employee is selected for the position.

    • Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
    • Selections are subject to restrictions resulting from DoD Program for Stability of Civilian Employment.
    • A two year probationary or trial period may be required.
    • This is a Drug Testing position.
    • The person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment pursuant to 5 CFR 2634.903(b) (DoD 5500.7).
    • This is an Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) Workforce position. The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
