    GS-05: You may start at $37,113.00 if you meet the following minimum qualification requirements in addition to the education requirement listed under the Eligibility Requirements:

    Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the private sector performing clerical and support work. Examples may include responding to inquiries verbally and in writing, gathering documents, and establishing and maintaining electronic and hard copy files.

    GS-06: You may start at $41,369.00 if you meet the following minimum qualification requirements in addition to the education requirement listed under the Eligibility Requirements:

    Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the private sector providing administrative support functions to assist with information for routine reports, inquiries, and technical correspondence. Examples include reviewing outgoing correspondence and documents to ensure proper signature and conformance to style and format requirements and procedural instructions are met.

    GS-07: You may start at $45,972.00 if you meet the following minimum qualification requirements in addition to the education requirement listed under the Eligibility Requirements:

    Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the private sector performing legal assistance and/or related support work and writing technical products. Examples may include responding to inquiries verbally and in writing, gathering documents, establishing and maintaining electronic and hard copy files, analyzing inquiries and conducting research, and drafting written products or letters to individuals internal or external to the organization.

    EDUCATION -Education may be substituted for the following specialized experience; however such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work (if applicable).

    Combination of Education and Experience: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level course work and experience may be used to meet the total experience requirements.

    Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
