Description A Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer will be responsible for: Management of an existing, seasoned, commercial real estate client base, including ongoing portfolio management of loans. New loan business development, generated from deepening existing loan relationships, referrals from existing customers, internal referral sources, and other sources. Referral of cash management, Trust/Wealth Management and consumer mortgage opportunities to our client's associates. This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer. This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. Travel may be required for this position. Profile A successful Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer will have: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years commercial real estate lending experience in the Northern Virginia or DC Metro market. Commercial real estate credit training. Computer and technologically proficient in various bank mainframe and general \"desktop\" applications, to include strong aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Job Offer The Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer will receive a competitive annual base salary plus an annual bonus. Under the direction of the lending department, manage an existing commercial real estate loan portfolio, generate additional new commercial real estate business for the bank and process commercial real estate loan requests. This position will require ongoing oversight and management of key commercial real estate relationships.
