Sensors and Systems Technician (Active Secret Clearance)
Description: Candidate will test and tune RF assemblies from component to top assembly. Candidate will have experience in RF electronics, as well as the ability to test and troubleshoot down to board and component level. They must be able to conduct electrical tests and analysis using computer based software and keep detailed records of tests and test data. Candidates will use RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters and signal generators for testing.Work Environment: Employees will be working in a large Manufacturing Environment - our client is a large, global Defense Integrator specializing in the manufacturing of ground-based and air-based Radar Systems. This is a cleared facility so all candidates must adhere to these requirements. Qualifications: EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: * High School Diploma/GED. * Graduate of a two year, full time electronic technology school or six months military electronics school plus two years working in the maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical equipment. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: * Must have extensive knowledge of electronics principles. * A high degree of skill in fabrication and test of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems. * Be capable of readily adapting to changing assignments and requirements * Be capable of meeting basic solder certification and successfully passing pre-employment skills screening. * Possess and maintain a secret security clearance, (interim is acceptable) Performance Expectations: 1st Day Expectations: Due to the presence of Unions, all candidates MUST be on time consistently - people who are late on a regular basis will not work out. Best Vs.
