The Opportunity We have an exciting new opportunity for a VP of Marketing who will work with the team out of Company's offices in Baltimore, MD. Occasional work will be in Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the surrounding areas. Additionally, occasional travel outside of the Mid-Atlantic may be required. You will work primarily with the Director of Sales, Senior Market Manager, Director of Creative & Brand Marketing, and CEO. You have the opportunity to help us continue to scale a beautiful, dynamic company as the VP of Marketing at Company. The VP of Marketing is responsible for the company's growth as measured by (1) revenue from B2C subscription boxes (2) number of active customers and (3) expansion of our service to new cities. You will adjust and build out the marketing department's org structure to optimize resources, maximize efficiency, and achieve goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will guide the company's strategic direction for growth through customer acquisition, brand strategy, and expansion. Responsibilities:Grow Company's customer base by hitting goals established by leadership and the marketing department using determined budget. Work on acquisition, retention, and engagement of customers.Collaborate with team to identify new expansion markets and lead launch efforts in new cities.Work with Director of Creative & Brand Marketing to guide & develop our brand & design which will differentiate us, make us iconic, and allow us to appeal to a wider audience.Meet regularly with department to support and guide direction of marketing projects and initiatives.Participate in leadership meetings as a department head.Build marketing org structure and hire positions of greatest need.Work on increasing engagement & retention of customer base.The Goods You're Bringing:Prior experience in a marketing leadership roleProven success for leading and motivating teamsExperience implementing successful field marketing tacticsThorough understanding of how to best leverage digital & social space to grow brandsBold and action-oriented, ready to executeEnergetic and excited about Company and our missionGenuine: down to earth, believes in mission, honest, and caringCurious: not afraid to fail, learner's mindset, open minded, open to criticism/growthAmbitious: scrappy, tenacious, action-oriented, follows through
