HR Business Partner Apply Company The Boeing Company Job ID 1900003482 Date posted 01/09/2019 Location Arlington Virginia United States Job Description As the Human Resources Strategic Business Partner (HRBP) to the Global Sales & Marketing organization, you will be responsible for partnering with senior executives and managers responsible for the company's business development efforts, including Global Marketing, International Sales and Business Capture for the Boeing Defense, Space and Security organization and the newly formed Global Boeing Services organization. Responsibilities * Provide effective consultative skills/talent management solutions that drive sales/business results, partnering with leaders to integrate business, human resource and organizational change management strategies and action plans to improve operational effectiveness, leadership, workforce planning and talent acquisition * Collaborates with managers/employees to drive the development of people strategies, action plans and metrics to assess progress/impact * Uses business knowledge to make recommendations and proposals on key business strategies, develops long and short term strategies involving policies (eg, Diversity, Employee Engagement and Functional Excellence) and embeds people plans in the operating rhythm of the organization * Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others; utilizing conflict resolution techniques, and making the necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure employee perspectives are considered * Coach's all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture to performance outcomes * Help lead key HR initiatives for the Global Sales & Marketing organization including organizational change in the function * Deploys and administers HR programs, policies, practices and processes * Develops integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives * Analyzes staffing and diversity strategy performance and develops corrective solutions * Partners with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives * Facilitates the recruitment/selection process with client group to ensure appropriate talent acquisition to achieve Best Team/Best Talent * Leads or conducts employee investigations, tracks and monitors case activities Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): * Bachelors degree or greater * Experience facilitating / leading and executing project plans * 3 or more years experience providing briefings to senior and/or executive level management * 3 or more years experience influencing and driving change in organizations through partnering with organization leaders * Experience collaborating with customers on executive selections, succession planning, talent management or leadership development * Experience communicating and implementing HR Programs, policies, practices and processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources * 10 or more years Human Resources experience Typical Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
