Duties and Responsibilities Serves as a role model for employees through teamwork support, attention to detail, quality control, and consistency. Supervises and motivates cooking staff promoting an environment that encourages positive reinforcement and a supportive culture. Prepares budgets in consultation with Director of Dining Services. Manages and/controls food cost. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in supervising and training staff. Skilled in menu development within budget food costing. Food handlers certification and knowledge of HACCP standards required. Recipe development required. Ensures maintenance of cooking equipment Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
