Vector's is seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist to provide recruiting and administrative support to HR functions. A successful candidate will operate with a sense of urgency, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and place the utmost importance on customer service.Functions: Perform customer service function by answering employee requests and questions Post job openings, assist with applicant tracking and screening Ensure the successful transition from application to interview to offer to hire for managers and new employees Ensure compliance with state, federal, and OFCCP requirements associated with the hiring process Perform background and reference checks for new employees Maintain HR management system (HRMS) and personnel files Facilitate the new employee onboarding process Enroll new employees in benefit programs and act as an internal point-of-contact for employee benefit questions and concerns Perform other HR duties as assigned, to include special projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources management and 3-4 years' experience in the HR field. (Experience in the field may be substituted for education) In addition to education and/or experience, the preferred candidate should demonstrate the following competencies: Interpersonal skills: the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things or methods. The individual exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others at all levels in the organization and works to establish and maintain constructive relationships throughout the organization. Organization: the individual can effectively prioritize and plan work activities, developing realistic action plans Communication: the individual speaks clearly, demonstrates group presentation skills, edits their own written work for accuracy, and is able to read and interpret information Quality Control: the individual demonstrates an extremely high level of accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality Dependability: the individual is consistently at work, responds to direction, and seeks feedback to improve their own performance
