Responsibilities Sells Rotech Healthcare's respiratory equipment including Noninvasive ventilation and Home Oxygen to potential and existing referral sourcesEstablish and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other professionals in the medical communityConducts daily sales calls to establish new and maintain ongoing business with referral sources in the medical communityDevelops sales territory call strategies to qualify new and maintain existing accounts to grow the businessFollows weekly call plan and enters completed sales calls using the Weekly Call Planner and Call ReportMeets and/or exceeds a monthly sales quotaBecomes an expert on reimbursement guidelines for Rotech products and communicates them to referral sources and physiciansMaintains a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer concernsPartners with location management and staff as well as other Rotech departments within to drive sales growthPerforms other related duties as directed by Sales and ManagementSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNone Education and ExperienceA four year college degree is requiredExperience in respiratory or medical sales is preferredLeadership Experience in other areas or fieldsValid driver's license with a clean record in the state in which you reside (where applicable)Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigationSkillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customersWillingness to participate in ongoing training and developmentGeographically located within the assigned territoryMust be highly self-motivated, flexible and service-orientedStrong presentation and communication skillsAbility to organize, plan, and delegate properly in accordance with size and services of the locationAbility to write legibly in EnglishBuilds relationships with patients, caregivers, and referral sourcesEffective oral and written communication with location staff, supervisors, patients, and referral sourcesHelpful, knowledgeable, and politeKnowledgeable in all major insurance carrier eligibility and reimbursement guidelinesMaintains a positive, constructive, and polite, attitudeStrong leadership abilitiesStrong organization, time and territory management skillsPhysical DemandsRequires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listeningRequires close vision to small print on computer and or paperworkAbility to drive and travel via personal vehicle and occasionally via airplaneUtilize computer for hoursRoutine walking and standing for long periods of timeUse of hands to write, use computers and manipulate papersHours of talking and hearing on a daily basisThe position requires occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 poundsMachines, Equipment and Technical AbilitiesUnderstanding use of all applicable home medical equipment and suppliesUsing common office equipment (eg, phone, copier, fax, computer, etc.)Internet, including knowledge of email transmission and communicationInternet navigation and researchMicrosoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, etc.Work EnvironmentOffice, warehouse, fieldTravel via automobile (personal vehicle) required with reimbursement according to Rotech's policyDepartmental InteractionRegular interaction with billing center employees, Location Managers and sales teamContact with individual customers, caregivers, vendors, referral sources and location employeesMaintains close communication with all location employees to ensure consistent and timely communication on patient mattersRotech OffersCompetitive CompensationUncapped CommissionsCareer Path and Management opportunitiesHealth and wellness benefits to include medical, prescription, dental and vision plans, short term and long term disability, supplemental life insurance and flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance programPTO and Paid Holidays401KBonusEmployee DiscountsAuto & Mileage ReimbursementCompany Cell PhoneEmployee Referral programEmployee Recognition programEmployee Service Program**Compensation includes a competitive base salary and a highly lucrative commission plan.
