Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact - Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) - Arrange monthly consolidated PL and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Organize quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills - Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired - Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports - QuickBooks experience - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers - Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail - Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required - SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience - Efficient in ERP systems - Strong organization skills - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlinesAccountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
