At AVEVA, we're all about Limitless possibilities. Are you? Responsibilities: This position is responsible to delivery simulation solution to our pipeline customers in the Oil & Gas industry. The engineer will work as part of larger project team and complete assignments to deliver the final solution to meet the needs of the customer. This work will include design documentation, implementation, testing, customer training and site commissioning. . Configuration and implementation of pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA's SimSuite Pipeline advanced pipeline modeling application. . Development of project documentation including the functional design specification, acceptance test procedures and custom user documentation. . Participate as a member of a larger team in project implementation and delivery to customers. . Work directly with customers to understand customer's needs and requirements. . Travel to client sites will be required. Skills & Qualifications: . A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering. . 0 to 5 years of experience in software application deployment, development or service preferably in the Oil or Gas Pipeline Simulation industry. . 0 to 5 years of general experience in Oil and Gas pipeline transportation or related industry. Core Competencies: Non-Technical Skills & Experience Required: . Planning, problem-solving, customer relationships, teamwork, quality assurance, interpersonal communications. . Proven written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional Identified Beneficial Skills: C++ and/or Fortran or other coding experience is beneficial. Secondary language skills.
