Job Description:The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos is currently seeking a salaried Executive Assistant for our Reston, VA location. The successful candidate will work as a member of a high-visibility government/contractor team supporting/assisting US government personnel with accountability status, travel arrangements, updating calendars, providing phone coverage and otherwise be the primary point of contact for the organization and central point of contact for organizational communications. Work will be performed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment inside a government facility.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Extensive interfacing with high-level, high-profile government customers on a daily basisDaily maintenance and update of Accountability Roster for US government personnel in the division. This will include identifying and reporting personnel status; reaching out to customers, consolidating status and reporting to division POC prior to deadlines; track the daily locations and movement of US government personnel in the division; maintain and update electronic calendarsRepresent the organization to external customers; become the central point of communications for the organization; provide phone coverage during normal business hours (8am-5pm)Immediately responsive to tasking with short term deadlinesConsolidate, enter, and submit government travel data for government personnelTransfer government personnel clearances upon requestAcquire and maintain Contractor Site Security Officer (CSSO) statusBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:TS/SCI ClearancePositive and pleasant "Can-Do" attitudeExcellent communication/customer relation skillsPunctuality and promptnessHigh school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience2 years of experience using MS Office productsAdept at using computer-based online servicesDetail conscious despite the large scope of tasking (attention to detail)Adept at schedulingAbility to work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impactDevelops solutions to problems/issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding of domain knowledgeEnjoys problem solving and setting up processesADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:TS/SCI Clearance with CI PolyExperience using MS ProjectPrevious experience with Government Defense Travel System (DTS)Familiarity with Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)CSSO trained
