This Consultant will be responsible for working collaboratively within a team using Agile development methods to produce results that reflect the customer vision and capabilities of the data. The successful candidate will have strengths in team collaboration, critical thinking and effective communication skills. Additional responsibilities and requirements are listed below:* Analysis of Federal Financial reporting data, financial statements, contracts and grants with other data sets* Pulling data from multiple sources and formats and merging, cleaning and analyzing consolidated data* Developing proof of concepts showcasing the power of advanced analytics using alternative data sets* Collaboratively developing useful analytic models and methodologies and assist in incorporating into decision making processes * Developing effective data visualizations and data understanding activities * Assessing metrics and their effectiveness in managing performance * Developing dashboards and reports that incorporate metrics and accurately represent the effectiveness of the organization * Developing reporting capabilities that inform on the effective use of the data * Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environmentRequired Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in an analytics technology related field, eg, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Information Systems and a minimum of 5 years of experience in full software development life cycle* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Proficient in visualization tools including Tableau, Python, and other * Proficient in programming languages including R, JavaScript, SQL * Proficient in Agile development methodology (Scrum), Certified Scrum Master (or equivalent/superior certification for Agile) preferred* Familiarization with Data Warehousing* Strong collaboration skills, able to be effective at all organizational levels; users, team members and management * Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship is required)Required Skills:* Understanding of Federal Financial reporting data, financial statements, contracts and grants. * Pulling data from multiple sources and formats and merging, cleaning and analyzing consolidated data. * Developing proof of concepts showcasing the power of advanced analytics using alternative data sets. * Collaboratively developing useful analytic models and methodologies and assist in incorporating into decision making processes * Developing effective data visualizations and data understanding activities * Assessing metrics and their effectiveness in managing performance * Developing dashboards and reports that incorporate metrics and accurately represent the effectiveness of the organization * Developing reporting capabilities that inform on the effective use of the data * Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment Preferred Qualifications * Certified Scrum Master (or equivalent/superior certification for Agile) preferredKearney & Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or any other classification protected by law.If you would like to request a reasonable accommodation, regarding accessibility of our website, a modification or adjustment of the job application or interview process due to a disability, please call 703-236-2391 or email [Click Here to Email Your Resume].
