Knowledge and Understanding of: Residential construction and remodeling, Residential building trades and their pre-requisites for production Basic management practices. Construction techniques, tools, equipment and materials. Quality, cost control Building & Energy codes and those specific to DC/VA/MD Plans, specifications, and contracts Inspection process Finishes and installation requirements Skill Sets: Advanced carpentry Foundation and framing layout Able to organization, prioritize and multitask Prompt, follow through with Project Managers, clients, vendors and subs Basic budget management and personnel management Review work performed by trade partners for quality and accuracy Interpret drawings and specifications Solid communication skills Interact with cloud based software - BuilderTREND Strong analytical mathematical skills Proper use of safety equipment and tools Personal Attributes: Lifelong Learner Exemplary commitment to ethics and honesty Possess a "Can Do" attitude, driven self-starter focused on results Physically able to perform task such as lifting, moving material, climbing ladders Team player actively contributing to company success Passionate about building science and environmental stewardship
