Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level providing 2 or more of the following support services for a midsize organization: mail management; administrative and secretarial support / corporate reception; executive driving; and/or providing support to an agency inventory/property management or facility services program. Examples of experience at this grade level include activities such as: (1) assisting with the receipt, dispatch and delivery of all internal and external mail; (2) assisting with the procurement, storage, and distribution of office supplies and equipment; (3) performing general clerical and secretarial support services for leadership; (4) greeting internal and external customers and visitors, both in person and on the phone, and directing customers to the appropriate organizational point of contact; (5) scheduling routine maintenance or furniture repair; and (6) receipt, tagging, and delivery of property and invoice reconciliation.
At the GS-7 grade level, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level providing 2 or more of the following support services for a midsize organization: mail management; administrative and secretarial support / corporate reception; executive driving; and/or providing support to an agency inventory/property management or facility services program. Examples of experience at this grade level include activities such as: (1) independently overseeing the receipt, dispatch and delivery of all internal and external mail received and dispatched; (2) serving as a vehicle control officer (3) exercising independent judgment when interacting with dignitaries or senior officials and maintaining sensitive materials in an appropriate manner; (4) resolving complex problems, questions, or complaints related to organizational support functions; and (5) managing multiple support service projects and assignments and providing input to supervisor regarding equipment, supplies and other resources needed to complete work tasks.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The duties of this position are suitable for telework only during an emergency or natural disaster.
Stipulations of Employment:
Selection may require completion of a 1-year probationary period.
This position requires operation of a Government vehicle, therefore, proof of possession of a valid state driver's license is required.
This position is subject to a negative drug test.
This position allows for a flexible work schedule.
This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
