  • Qualifying experience for the EL-15 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-14/EL-14 which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include the following:
    • Analyzed financial performance of financial institutions.
    • Analyzed and evaluated financial statements and other financial information to assess the financial condition and performance of the Enterprises.
    • Compiled and analyzed complex information from a variety of technical sources and developed graphic and written reports which summarize information in easy to understand formats.
    • Knowledge of commercially available sources of corporate financial performance data or mortgage credit data
    • Represented agencies at meetings with the regulated entities, other government agencies, or other relevant external organizations
    • Provided analysis of current and emerging risks to earnings from business risks or changes in the macroeconomic environment.
    • Served as a subject matter expert on the quantitative analysis in support of housing policy development and goals.
    • Provided expertise on the quantitative analysis of the regulated entities' earnings and financial performance; risk profile of counterparties that do business with the regulated entities.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
