To Qualify for GS-12:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:(1) Experience conducting feasibility studies to identify and analyze system failures and analyzing data to determine trends and to forecast for future replacement and modifications of system hardware and software. (2) Experience resolve desktop configuration issues by troubleshooting operating systems. (3) Experience scheduling, pre-testing, installation and conducting post tests for software patches and upgrades. (4) Experience performing audits requirements for IT computer systems including specification for individual systems and agency policies and procedure to specific IT functions such as security or systems development. (5)Experience monitoring IT services operating systems, applications and systems performing preventative maintenance. and administrative applications.
