EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-07, you must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as:Integrating a variety of office automation software in support; maintains records, files and documentation on personnel, budget and correspondence initiated and completed; reviews approved annual operating budget and logs transaction ino funds control register. Records daily expenses in log books as appropriate, tracking acquisitions and overtime charges.; maintains the offices' utility expenditures files, and reviews and verifies telephone bills; monitors funds within allocation levels; works with team members in developing reports, completing projects and preparing various large scale assignments; recommending solutions to routine problems; processing incoming forms, records, or other documents; making travel arrangements and preparing travel vouchers; verifying time and leave balances; creating and maintaining electronic data management systems and preparing purchase requests using an electronic acquisition program; Responds to oral and written requests for program- related information;solicits information from parks or other sources, complies it, and prepares final reports/correspondence for the signature of the appropriate official; participates in planning and making arrangements for special events ; You must include hours per week worked.

You must include months, years and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work and/or volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience is equivalent to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are prorated. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as "varies".
There is no substitution of education for experience at the grade level(s) of this announcement.
