Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 or equivalent which is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples of GS-11 level work includes: 1) providing a broad range of advisory services in the areas of recruitment and placement, position management, classification, targeted recruitment, special employment programs, and workforce planning; 2) working with hiring managers to develop a recruitment strategy that will attract a highly qualified diverse applicant pool that meets the needs of the organization; 3) analyzing, evaluating, classifying positions to assign occupation series and grade; 4) performing job analyses to establish and validate rating, ranking, and selection criteria; 5) processing applications and advising employees on Federal Benefits such as TSP, FEHB, FEGLI, FERS and CSRS; and 6) processing and advising management on Disciplinary and Performance-based actions.
