Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Analyst

Key Role:

Support the functional team within an applications development or support team that is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Oracle Federal Financials R12 product within an Oracle E-Business Suite solution. Leverage expertise in configuring and testing Oracle Federal Financials modules and products, including payables, receivables, purchasing, general ledger, federal administration, such as budget execution, fixed assets, project accounting, and Oracle Workflow. Work independently to analyze, implement, and test enhancements or bug fixes within Oracle Federal Financials. Use effective communication techniques to act as a liaison between the client and development or technical team, translating functional or business requirements into technical requirements for the development team to implement.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with Oracle Federal Financials E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, including configuring and testing payables, receivables, purchasing, general ledger, federal administration, including budget execution, and Oracle Workflow, Subledger Accounting Methods (SLAM) setups and general accounting, Oracle EBS flexfields and lookups, Oracle EBS APIs, and Oracle Federal reports, such as GTAS, CTAS, and SF133

-Experience with SQL and PL/SQL

-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional or technical Oracle E-Business Suite Financials issues

-Ability to collaborate and communicate with the client to gather or document requirements, re-engineer business processes, and explain issues and possible resolutions

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with Oracle Federal Financials multi-organization setups

-Experience with Oracle EBS functional patch analysis

-Experience with Oracle EBS v12.1.3 and 12.2.X

-Experience with working in an Agile or DevOps environment and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

-Experience with Kofax MarkView for Oracle

-Experience with Kofax Capture

-Experience in facilitating meetings and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions

-Knowledge of Common Government Accounting Classification (CGAC) configurations within Oracle Federal Financials

-Knowledge of Central Accounting Reporting System (CARS) requirements

-Knowledge of various fiscal service initiatives, including Payment Automation Manager (PAM), Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), Secure Payment Systems (SPS), and Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act)

-Ability to work independently with little oversight

-Possession of excellent requirements gathering and analysis skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
