Act as primary resource for DCS’ HR Management System (currently Ultimate Software). Essential Job Functions: Technical specialist, owning the back end; data architecture, workflow configuration, modules configuration as well as all interfaces and data flows. Develop a suite of standard reports, ad hoc reports, business intelligence analytics and dashboards to enable improved evidence-based decision making for the HR team and the business. Responsibility for data integrity– making sure that data is clean, accurate and up to date and working with those responsible for data entry to ensure the quality. Share knowledge with the wider HR team and across company to upskill the team to use the system more effectively. Understanding the internal working of the system and the system capabilities as well as the HR strategy and will pro-actively suggest solutions for consideration by HR leadership. Deal with all system upgrades/ patches, release management etc. and will be the main interface for the UltiPro account manager. Strong advocate for process improvement and the automation of HR processes. Work cross functionally to solve business challenges and improve system capability. Be Subject Matter Expert on HR Technology, researching new systems and making recommendations for further enhancements. Work on process improvement initiatiatives related to HRMS (succession planning, organizational development). Assist other functional areas like Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Training with integration to HRMS and system capabilities. Create and maintain appropriate role-based security and workflow processes to ensure information is available to the appropriate people based upon their roles. Document workflow, take the lead on System administration and System governance. Implement modules/upgrades of UltiPro HRMS. Design configuration and testing plans. Coach and assist UltiPro users to learn. Assist and lead other HR initiatives as assigned related to process improvement and DCS’s Quality Management System (QMS). Act as resource for maintaining other HR digital platforms such as DCS Internet/Intranet and Sharepoint. Assist with compliance reporting and other regulatory requirements. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HR or IT. Proven experience working with a recognized HRMS, ideally ULTIPRO (ULTIMATE SOFTWARE) to include in-depth knowledge of the personnel management, organizational management modules and reporting capabilities. Extensive experience with Cognos report-writing toolset. Ability to demonstrate experience of working in a complex HR organization with solid understanding of HR processes, terminology, data, and best practices. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and/or Access. Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of HR processes in assessment of data and development of metrics. Strong analytical skills and ability to see patterns. Self-directed with the aptitude to set priorities and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to multi-task with strong orientation to detail. Proven ability to work with highly confidential data with a high-level of professionalism.
