This position works from the Pennino Building in Fairfax, Virginia.
Provides technical and clerical administrative support for multiple program areas within the Area Agency on Aging Program. Responsible for working in a collaborative manner with other administrative professionals to support data entry into Harmony, PeerPlace and the Volunteer Management System. Responsible for technical support to include: development of power points, video messaging, community registration for orientation and training events held by the agency. Responsible for ordering supplies, distributing material to staff and maintaining the storage areas and inventory processes. Responsible for the unit's vehicle fleet in collaboration with Cross Division. Supports front desk coverage, answering phones and greeting visitors when necessary. Responsible for assisting in the preparation of quarterly staff meetings. Performs general office duties such as: copying, faxing, shredding, sorting and distribution of mail. The assigned functional areas are customer service and information technology.
Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and one year of experience providing administrative support.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
Must have a valid driver's licenses.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a check of the Child Protective Services Registry, and a driver's record check to the satisfaction of the employer.
