Radio Technician - State Dept. - Interim Secret Clearance Required

PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an experienced Radio Technician to work at the State Dept. in Springfield, Virginia. This is an active position with a February start.Position Description The selected candidate will have responsibility for all technical and maintenance activities that support the Department of State's domestic and overseas radio program.Perform on a daily basis complex troubleshooting and a full range of radio communications technician assignments. Assist and perform ground based radio communications systems planning, system design, implementation, installation, support and problem solving. Install, test, repair, and maintain base station, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and multiplex equipment, both analog and digital, and point to point radio communications systems. Remove legacy equipment, and install new two-way Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems, sirens, emergence vehicle lighting, cabling, and other communications equipment.
