Industrial Security Officer, Mid

Key Role:

Support the development and implementation of an organization's industrial security manual and all other activities associated with the ongoing maintenance of a sound security program that is compliant with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and all applicable IC and DoD directives. Identify the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documents that are required, analyze the documents for government review and approval, prepare the staff and site for all government security audits and travel, including required self-inspection activities, coordinate and transmit appropriate correspondence, oversee the document control process to ensure classified holdings are managed in accordance with national policy, and facilitate the co-use and joint use of performer sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) locations accredited by other entities. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on NISP issues and ensure compliance with US government directives, regulations, requirements, corporate and business unit directives, and client directed requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as a program security officer working for the IC

-Experience with the NISP and operating manual

-Experience with researching or developing security policies

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing SOPs and documents for industrial security management

-Experience with document control processes and security audits

-Experience with facilitating co-use and joint use of SCIF locations

-Experience with intelligence domains
-Experience with the intelligence community (IC) domain
-Experience with the intelligence budgeting domain
