collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met * Incorporate and leverage best industry practices while maintaining alignment with Navy Federal goals and capabilities * May provide photographic support for internal events/activities* Support and take occasional direction from colleague(s) who lead design for large scale projects* Research online libraries for images to support design team projects* Perform other duties as assignedQualifications (Level I):* Associate degree in graphic design or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience* Experience using design programs, creating print and online collateral for Employee Communication campaigns* Working knowledge of design principles design development standards, techniques and methodologies and ability to apply them* Working knowledge of design fundamentals such as color theory, typography and composition* Experience in interactive design, visual design and industry standards* Experience applying new programs and technologies to design and communication challenges* Ability to work independently and in a team environment* Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions* Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely* Effective verbal and written communication skills* Effective database and presentation software skills* Experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects * Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors* Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals* Effective organizational, planning and time management skills* Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills* Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions* Desired - Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience* Desired - Experience with mainstream InDesign desktop publishing programs, and other Adobe Creative Suite programs including motion graphics and multimedia* Desired - Working knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and proceduresResponsibilities (Level II):* Develop and execute designs and visual branding for internal communication products and services including online, print, multimedia, presentation, display and other interactive collateral* Participate in strategic/conceptual development meetings with clients to determine project requirements, objectives and creative direction * Work closely with clients as a Trusted Advisor to develop materials that meet/exceed their needs and expectations and comply with branding, trademark and other company and industry standards * Conduct research, conceptualize and develop several strong, persuasive ideas that address the goals and purpose of the credit union* Serve as creative resource and point of contact for management on design and branding standards, vendor selection and production methods and timelines* Present creative concepts to management for complex and/or extended communication campaigns* Create and implement designs for projects* Lead or participate in cross-departmental project teams to enhance and develop products/services and plan/implement marketing campaigns* Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule;
