Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Nurse Manager (RN) for Same Day Surgery and Preadmission Testing


Department/Position Overview: We are seeking experienced nursing candidates to manage our Same Day Surgery and Preadmission testing departments.

Master's level degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services which meet or exceed customer expectations. Position is responsible for safe management of patients throughout perioperative experience. Serve as mentor by role modeling a professional practice consistent with surgeon expectations, organizational goals, customer service, clinical effectiveness, patient safety and clinical standards of care.

Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree - NURSING

Experience
Required: Operating Room - 3 years, Supervisory - 3 years
