AboutWeb is searching for a Business Development Coordinator for our downtown Baltimore office.

We provide services to both commercial and federal clients and are a certified HUBZone small business concern. In addition to the services we provide, we carry out our social mission through our AboutWeb Cares division which is changing lives by creating IT job training opportunities for people from economically disadvantaged areas. We're interested in finding a Business Development Coordinator who believes in our social mission and is motivated to help us grow the company.

Our ideal Business Development Coordinator with work with the Business Development Manager to identify prospects and build relationships with key decision makers, recommend solutions, and close deals. This is a very client facing role, so understanding prospective needs and excellent communication skills are essential.

This Business Development Coordinator should also understand that their contributions to the growth of the company will a direct positive impact on the success and empowerment of additional individuals in the AboutWeb Cares Program and this should be a part of their motivation for joining the team.

Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ Years of Government Contract Sales and/or Staffing experience preferably in a Business Development role.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • The ability to understand clients' technical requirements and the ability to relay the information to other team members.
  • Non-profit fundraising/development or marketing experience a plus.
  • Have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others by helping to grow our AboutWeb Cares Program
