AboutWeb is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our downtown Baltimore office.

In addition to the services we provide, we carry out our social mission through our AboutWeb Cares division which is changing lives by creating IT job training opportunities for people from economically disadvantaged areas. We're interested in finding a Marketing Coordinator who believes in our social mission and is motivated to help us promote and grow the company.

Our ideal Marketing Coordinator with work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies, seek out new business opportunities, and promote AboutWeb Cares. This is a very client facing role, so understanding prospective needs and excellent communication skills are essential.

This Marketing Coordinator should also understand that their contributions to the growth of the company will have a direct, positive impact on the success and empowerment of additional individuals in the AboutWeb Cares Program, and this should be a part of their motivation for joining the team.

Preferred Skills
  • Have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others by helping to grow our AboutWeb Cares Program
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of sales and/or staffing experience preferably in a marketing or business development role.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • The ability to understand clients' technical requirements and the ability to relay the information to other team members.
  • Non-profit fundraising/development or marketing experience a plus.
