We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join an ongoing project with one of our Government clients. This role will be supporting the transformation to build a content management, portal, system. This candidate must have client facing experience as well as several years of hands on development experience. This individual would be involved in both back-end and front-end work: s/he would help build the front-end application as well as the back-end services.

- 2 - 5 years of Java development experience
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in Java development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
- Great understanding with AWS (Amazon Web Services), certification in AWS preferred, but not required
- REST, web services, SOAP
- Webservers and application servers like Tomcat, Apache, and NGINX
- Docker, Jenkins CJE, CI/CD pipeline and GitHub preferable
- Strong core relational database concepts (Oracle, PostgreSQL)/data modeling
- Experience with Linux and comfortable administering headless servers in the cloud
- Agile development experience including an understanding of modern system performance enhancement and data security
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science technology or IT related degree, or similar experience
- 2 years of experience in a fast-paced business environment
Nice to Have:
- Comfortable setting up AWS VPCs, security groups, onsite to cloud tunnels
- Understanding of frameworks, specifically Selenium, Laravel and Angular
- Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
