Apex Systems, LLC is immediately seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter in support of a growing Government Integrator in Elkridge, MD. The qualified individual will be responsible for sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. Will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our technical/non -technical positions. Location: Elkridge, MD Duration: Temp to Perm Compensation: Competitive based on years of relevant experience & education Responsibilities: Source candidates through job boards, social media, and employee referrals Understand technology, technical roles and technical skills Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to the position requirements Pre-Screen candidates Coordinate with Hiring Managers to schedule phone and in-person interviews Manage requisition activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and SuccessFactors for offers Manage candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process Responsible for working on both "live" and "contingent" requirements Confer with Hiring Managers to identify recruiting needs develop effective recruiting plans and strategies assess assigned positions to develop job descriptions and job candidate profiles Check references Update job boards accordingly Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process is compliant with federal and state legislation Extend offers of employment within company procedures Manage the job offer including negotiation and administration Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trend Job/ Career Fairs - Possess a motivated & competitive attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree & 6+ years' of relevant experience in technical recruiting Must have Government contracts staffing experience Specific experience staffing Federal Health contracts is a plus Experience using web-based recruiting tools, including social media, job boards, and applicant tracking systems or CRM's Specific experience with ICIMS is a plus Must have experience recruiting for Developer, System Engineer, DevOps, and Architect level openings Ability to gain conceptual understanding of a wide variety of functional/technical/engineering concepts Ability to cold-call and build relationships by phone Proven administrative and organizational skills, attention to detail Demonstrates awareness of appropriate and competitive compensation and benefits at the corporate level. Possesses strong persuasive and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills. Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.
