You may start at $56,233, if you meet the following minimum qualification requirements.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level in the Federal sector equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the private sector analyzing corporate financial transactions or performing credit analysis. Examples may include performing corporate financial analysis, corporate credit analysis, or analyzing accounting data or restructuring plans.
Applicants may be qualified based on education and/or experience as described below. In order for education to qualify, it must have been in one of the following major fields of study - finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology.
1) master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2) 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR 3) A LL.B. or J.D., if related; OR 4) A combination of education and experience -- combination of successfully completed post high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements at this grade level.
Education may be substituted for the following specialized experience; however, such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work (if applicable).
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
