Exclusive opportunity to join the Capitol Cadillac and Capitol Buick GMC automotive family for our dealership in Greenbelt, Maryland.  We are looking for a responsible and detail oriented Assistant to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain an effective service system in customer Service center regularly to ensure efficient working throughout working hours.
Maintain and collect daily logs and service reports from technicians and gather information on faulty products and systems for necessary action.
Prepare all reports regarding service department, ensure reports to error free and submit it to management as per company policy.
Maintain knowledge on dealer issues and inform relevant departments in all these matters and send it to Central/Regional Desk Customer Services.
Ensure compliance to all service center staff regulations to ensure effective working of company.
Administer and perform all activities in line with company procedures regarding service department.
Assist all team members to follow established dress code, maintain punctuality and cleanliness as per company directives in service facility. 
Manage facility to achieve target revenue generation by maintaining service department efficiently.
Perform scheduling to implement policies and monitor all service enquiries and procedures to ensure completion of all clients’ requirements.
Administer check lists, service requests, contracts, instructions, warrantees and schedules to ensure service personnel comply with established service procedures.
Manage and maintain computerized service requests to track service operations and close completed orders.
Maintain and update a variety of records that include EPA logs, MSDS sheets, smoke detector records, asset inventory, fire log, compactor log and pool log.
Maintain inventory of spare parts for service center.
Perform and conduct move-in and move-out inspections to ensure proper enactment of service rules in facility. Dispatch repair orders when needed. Support warranty submissions

Hours 7am – 5pm Monday – Friday

Every Other Saturday 8am – 2pm
