The successful candidate would directly assist the Vice President of Security in the oversight of industrial security program with a primary focus on DD-254 and contract compliance.  

Essential Job Functions:

Duties include:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all DD-254 and contract security related issues

  • Interface with DCS Contracts and Subcontract personnel regularly

  • Study and become familiar with the security requirements of all active classified contracts

  • Analyze new contracts and develop security baselines and contract specific CI training

  • Maintain the DD-254 database and ensure the data stored in the database is accurate– input new DD-254s and ensure all active DD-254s are in the database; track period of performances for all contracts

  • Run monthly DD-254 reports and post to FSO Dashboard for all DCS sites

  • Prepare DD-254 documentation and appropriate security guidance for subcontractors

  • Work closely with contracts team and project manager to ensure security requirements are met

  • Conduct Contract Specific Counterintelligence (CI) training

  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with subcontractor Facility Security Officers

  • Assist and participate in all DSS Vulnerability Assessments – Company-wide

  • Support proposal efforts as needed

  • Maintain records in relation to system accreditations

  • Perform weekly AIS Audits – Metro Park

  • Participate in AIS Self Inspections (physical, user and self-inspections)

  • Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM as needed; take training as required

  • Conduct monthly random inspections as required by the NISPOM

  • Serve as back-up to FSOs and Security Assistant

  • Serve as COMSEC Custodian

  • Maintain COMSEC account; conduct semi-annual audits

  • Monitor and maintain the Security Call Center as a back-up when needed

  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the Vice President of Security and the General Counsel.

  • Participate in Facility Self-Inspections twice a year

  • Assist in new hire orientations as needed

  • Provide support in maintaining the SAPF.  Serve as CPSO.   Ensure all SAP requirements are met.

Required Skills:

  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • An active Top Secret Clearance is required (or Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret)

  • Working knowledge of the government classified contract process to include DD-254’s, Visitor Group Support Agreements and Performance Work Statements

  • Associates degree or equivalent relevant professional experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related industrial security experience

  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of internal and external customers, managers, employees, contracts and security personnel

  • Ability to follow directions IAW DCS Security Standards and participate as a team player

  • Be familiar with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD personnel and information security regulations, information systems security program requirements, Director Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs), and other related Federal security laws, directives and regulations

  • Strong working knowledge of JPAS, e‑FCL, ISFD, e-QIP.Working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, and other required forms

  • Special Access Program experience a plus!


Desired Skills:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
