Overview:

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a full time Executive Assistant in our Administration Office.

Position Overview
  • Provides administrative and operational support for the President of Sentara Leigh Hospital and for the Vice President of Medical Affairs
  • Prepares agendas, meeting materials and takes minutes for executive, leadership, and other meetings as assigned.
  • Provides operational support for the Administrative Assistant Team and manages the day to day operations of the Administration Offices.
  • Interacts with leadership team members, community members, board members (as needed), and corporate executives.
  • Hours: 8a - 5p with some after hour meetings in the evening.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as an executive assistant providing support to executive level management, in a professional, fast-paced, high volume administrative setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated individual who holds themselves accountable for results and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
