The Director of Finance is primarily responsible for advising and supporting operational Managers and Directors in all matters from a fiscal leadership perspective. Reporting to the entity CFO the director will support financial decision making and management at the entity. Work Schedule:

  • Work with and on the behalf of the entity CFO to advise and support Hospital Leadership in all
  • operational matters from a financial perspective.
  • Support and lead managers in the development of and compliance with financial plans and budgets.
  • Explore opportunities to improve business practices and performance across the entity that support
  • organizational mission and goals.
  • Develop and monitor cost control tools and initiatives for all areas.
  • Work with physician leadership and hospital executives in the development of business proformas for
  • potential new ventures. Explore needs, establish and implement long and short term objectives that
  • are consistent with the organization?s mission, vision, values, and goals.
  • Support the CFO in teaching, training and coaching managers in areas of healthcare finance, resource
  • management and compliance.
  • Work as an intermediary between local hospital leadership and all Support Center Departments as
  • needed.
  • Lead the management and execution of the annual capital and operating expense budget process at
  • the local level to ensure the achievement of organization goals.
  • Review and revise departmental policies and procedures as needed.
  • Participate on a variety of hospital committees.
  • Develops and implements departmental and interdepartmental performance improvement activities.
  • Participates in Leadership activities across the hospital and within the Financial Services group.
