The George Mason University School of Music seeks an applied part-time artist faculty member in oboe starting Fall 2019. Responsibilities: The faculty member will teach applied oboe/English Horn lessons, participate in audition days, adjudicate student juries and recitals, and instruct double reed studio classes.

Required Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have an established reputation as a performer and instrumental music educator, and will hold a Masters degree in music from an accredited institution, and/or current commensurate professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have extensive chamber music and orchestral experience in oboe and English Horn, as well as an established record of developing, teaching, and recruiting quality oboe students.
