The Receptionist's primary responsibility is to provide professional front office clerical support to the Radiation Oncology clinic as directed by the Administrative Coordinator and Director of Cancer Services. Manages daily operations of the front office maintaining a positive \"patient first attitude\". The receptionist will provide superior customer service through the handling of a high volume of telephone calls and scheduling appointments. Additional duties will include but are not limited to routing concerns appropriately, schedule maintenance and handling patient charts and medical records.
Work Schedule:

Welcome and greet patients and visitors in person and on the telephone. Obtain records needed for all patient visits and prepare electronic patient chart in advance of scheduled appointments. Various duties will include electronic filing, scanning, faxing, updating and maintaining all digital patient records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 - 5:00.
